I want to finish reading this when I have more time but I thought I'd pop in to tell you that what you've observed about male sexuality rigidness is actually a thing. Studies show the men's sexuality tends to be far more concrete then women's. We tend to be far more fluid and men tend to be, in general, either/or even after exploring. So, I'm not sure you'll see that one change too much.
