The Scorpio Experience: Part 1

We’re entering the “dark side” of the Zodiac now. There is a line of thought, in some astrology circles, that the first half of the Zodiac is “light” and prefers to stay on the surface, while the second half is “dark” and wants to run deep. Libra being at the center of the Zodiac, the only sign not represented by a living thing but by the balanced scales of justice, often is thought to be the “perfect” sign as we appreciate, understand, and can be comfortable with both the light and dark sides of humanity.
That said, for me, this journey represented a deeper dive into my sexuality and concepts of love so, it should be no surprise that my most memorable and meaningful connections were with my own and the consequent signs.
I absolutely adore Scorpio men, at least, from a distance. Scorpios, while irresistibly mysterious, are consistently a challenge for me beyond the surface connection. They hold everything close to their vests and share only what they want you to see. While that is perfect for a light, romantic interlude of intense passion, it is untenable for a deeply loving relationship with highly communicative Libras. Libras experience relationship intimacy through the open and honest sharing of our hearts, minds, and verbal communication of our lives. Scorpios love for you to open up to them, but their lack of willingness to reciprocate in any consistent fashion will trigger a Libra’s sense of unfairness and leave us feeling like we’re in an unbalanced relationship.
However, I can’t go out anywhere without attracting one as Scorpios love shiny Libras and as I once read, they take greater delight in corrupting our sweet and good nature, our preferable light side, than they do with any other sign. If you’re a Libra who is on the lighter side when you meet a Scorpio, he will want nothing more than to see how deep and dark you can go. At this point, I can, usually and accurately, guess when my admirer is a Scorpio as they have a mysterious and secret delight in disarming their prey before they go in for the kill. More times than I can count a Scorpio has taken my hand, looked into my eyes, and has charmed the great, Libra charmer.
They get such a bad wrap: “I hate Scorpios. They’re so arrogant!” But, one woman’s trash is another’s treasure. To me, they aren’t arrogant, they’re confident. They’re…
