This song is incredibly triggering to me right now.
The thing about triggers, when they aren’t a matter of trauma, is that a sense of extreme discomfort when exposed to the darker side of the human experience occurs because you have that darkness in you, and you’re attracted to it despite the fact that you know you shouldn’t be.
